Pulaski’s HealthWay Family of Brands has donated air purifiers to 18 small Central New York businesses, including 16 in Syracuse, to protect against the coronavirus. The donated units are from HealthWay’s Intellipure line, a medical-grade air purification system that captures and removes viral and bacterial particles from the air. HealthWay president Vinny Lobdell said the machines can be placed on the floor or hung on a wall, and are effective at removing particles containing the coronavirus.

Leola N Medina, 86

Feb 3, 2021 On Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, Leola N. Medina, loving wife, and mother of four children and grandmother to five grandchildren, passed away peacefully at the age of 86. Leola was born in Baker Brook, New Brunswick, Canada to Adelard and Emma (Baker) Nadeau. She came to Massachusetts to pursue her education. Education was very important to her. She graduated from Wareham High School in 1952 and then St. Luke s Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. She went on to receive a B.A. in Nursing from Boston University in 1960 and became a member of the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing. She was a registered nurse until her retirement.
